the search for the perfect iPhone 4/4s case goes on. this past month i’ve had the chance to try out a couple new ones, here ya go!
ifrogz Ultra Lean (White): $29.99
Fit: (10/10)
by far the best feature of this phone. this has to be the slimmest fitting case ever. no gaps, doesn’t slide off. pretty much perfect fit in your pocket and hand. i wish all companies could make a case this thin.
Feel: (8/10)
its ok. they tried a high gloss finish on this one. it looks nice and shiny but the feel is a little slippery for me. tends to slide in and out of the pocket well, slides around on a table top nicely…but not great for grip. a good feel.
Protection: (4/10)
hiking, climbing, running, or biking….not the case for you. i didn’t drop mine, but if i did, i don’t see the case protecting the phone at all. what can i say, it is not made to protect a drop, it is made to be thin and mobile.
Design: (9/10)
very simplistic which i like. it fits the phone perfectly. there are no ridges or designs on the case, just the ifrogz logo. no problem putting the phone in or taking it out of the case. buttons and ports accessible. no cutout for the sim card though. overall a really nice simple design at an affordable price.
price: (7/10)
i paid full price for this one. 30 bucks, id say it is worth it. for driving in the car, sitting in class, at the office, around the house, this is a really nice case because it promotes the sleekness and simplicity of the iphone itself. it makes me wonder what it would cost a company to make such a case made of 2 mm of white plastic…but hey, if it were 2.50 less i would’ve given it a 10.
Overall - 8.6/10 B+
i’m a little biased because i love slim cases such as these, look for this one on sale or on clearance at st*#les i saw one for $5.00. a little more protection offered, somehow, could have perfected it.
